Food for Thought: Creating a Team Vision - 3/26
CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS
Join us for the next session of the Northside Chamber's "Food for Thought" lunch-and-learn series.
The title of the session is “Creating a Team Vision of Success for your Company.”
Developing and communicating a clear vision for your company helps your employees know that their work matters. They will be more engaged and productive.Employees who don’t understand or don’t share your vision are not likely to be positive spokespersons for your company. Working with them to build a shared vision helps your employees communicate with your customers with one clear and confident voice.
Whether you have 2 or 20 employees, this workshop will help you to engage your employees to bring your vision to life and build a strong team vision. You’ll learn how to create a company vision that your employees will embrace and to help them learn the skills and develop the motivation they need to convey that vision within and outside your company.
As a manager, you are the guardian of your company’s culture. You play a critical role in helping your team to understand how their work fits into your organization’s larger purpose. Your team's vision should be aspirational, bold, have allure, and almost (but not quite!) unattainable.
