Food for Thought: Workforce Development
Recruiting and retaining great employees is becoming more and more challenging. Demographics of the worker pool are changing, there are not enough workers to fill the needs of employers in some job sectors, and employees are looking for defined career pathways.
Community College of Allegheny County and the North Side/Shore Chamber of Commerce are kicking off a partnership to address some of the most relevant workforce development issues on the Northside.
At this Food for Thought lunch-and-learn event on September 27, you will be a part of an interactive session designed and delivered by several members of CCAC’s leadership team.
- Know More: Trends in workforce development
- Recruit Better: How Northside businesses can receive recruitment help from CCAC
- Retain the Best: How programs from CCAC that can help Northside employees and business owners to improve their skills
- Continue the Conversation: How you can work with CCAC and the North Side/Shore Chamber to address workforce issues specific to your business
Chamber members and friends are welcome to join us on Thursday, September 27 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at CCAC’s Milton Hall Rotunda. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members, which includes lunch. Please register here by September 21.
