Area employers are aware of the Community College of Allegheny County, but most do not know of the vast array of resources available for recruitment and retention of great employees.
In this 2-part virtual series, CCAC leaders will be sharing information on how employers can work with CCAC in workforce development – specifically recruiting from the college (session 1) and using the college’s resources to retain and train staff (session 2).
These sessions will be useful to any employer curious about what CCAC can offer, but especially those who need extra hiring support as we navigate through this challenging time in workforce development.
SESSION 1: RECRUITING FROM CCAC

SESSION 2: RETAINING AND TRAINING EMPLOYEES USING CCAC RESOURCES

Summary:
Deb will present on the different ways that CCAC can help to train new and current employees to help meet retention goals. She will address customized corporate training, non-credit apprenticeships, continuing education credits, non-credit certificates, incumbent worker training including leadership and succession planning, WIOA, and community and youth programming. Reggie Overton will be presenting on training funding through WEDnet as well.
